10 Things I’ve Learned From My Last Job

1) Racism, sexism and classism exist heavily in education, especially higher education.

2) Not many women of color are full professors with tenure.

3) Speaking of tenure, it shouldn’t exist.

4) Some of the coolest Professors are assholes behind the scenes.

5) College Assistants exist and they need to be paid more.

6) Academic freedom exist and sometimes that gives a Professor the freedom to be extremely difficult.

7) Community Colleges are slept on and don’t need to be.

8) My deceased former boss was bad at his job. Terrible, lazy and not tech-savvy. He was a great Professor though.

9) My other former boss, is entitled, lazy and the real-life president of He-man, women haters club.

10) lots of tips, educational skills and hacks.

Black Hair Matters! And that’s why today is so special.

African- Americans also know as black people have been tremendously discriminated against due to the hair on their heads.

Multiple new story’s have come out like:

The wrestler who the ref and officials made him cut his dreadlocks off in the middle of the game. They actually paused the competition to cut his hair.

Anyway, our hair matter.

It’s beautiful, versatile and belongs in any space. Our hair is professional

Me judging you for judging my hair
